Dulcinea® Tuscan-Style® Extra Sweet Cantaloupe Basil Honey Dip

Get a doubly-delightful dose of Dulcinea® Tuscan-Style® Extra Sweet Cantaloupe. It’s exotic flavor is harmoniously blended with basil, honey and crème fraiche into an intoxicating dip.


  • ½ of a Dulcinea® Tuscan-Style® Extra Sweet Cantaloupe, seeded
  • 1/2 of a Dulcinea® PureHeart® Mini Seedless Watermelon
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon fresh basil, very finely minced
  • 1 (7 ounce) container crème fraiche
  • Fried beet chips* or your favorite dipping chip


  • Use melon baller to create Dulcinea® Tuscan-Style® Extra Sweet Cantaloupe balls and Dulcinea® PureHeart® Mini Seedless Watermelon balls
  • Blend honey, basil and creme fraiche together until smooth
  • Drizzle the top of mixture with honey
  • Garnish with basil leaf (optional)
  • Fried beet chips*
  • *Peel and very thinly slice fresh beets (using a mandolin is best for thin, even slices). Deep fry in very hot oil until crisp.
